I have quite a few things to show as I haven’t done a favourites since before christmas! Who else is hoping spring will hurry up and arrive? Comment and posts you’re like to see and I’ll do them.. unless they’re weird obviously try and keep in wishing travel, beauty, lifestyle and cooking stuff. I really want to do a spring makeup look and as my birthday is coming up I’d also like to post a birthday makeup blog post. Ramble/update over with out further adieu here is my march favourites a lil early to make you guys happy!

First is this retro thrifted Maser zip jumper. I’m the kinda person who is super unlucky and never finds anything thrifting however one particular thrifting trip was super lucky and I found loads and this was one pieces I picked up. I haven’t had a ton of chances to wear it but I like to wear it with black skinny jeans and hoops.

I picked this amazing denim skirt up in Hong Kong from Cotton On which btw is an amazing shop I’m sad I didn’t get more stuff there because they had clothes, stationary and room decor it was really cool.

This is my current favourite clothing item in my wardrobe (I’m wearing right now bc I’m weird). I love it, I wear it with black skinny jeans and a beige denim jacket to dress it down or my stripy navy and white trousers from H&M. This top was bought on ASOS but it is actually from New Look.

Since I was like 12 I always had oily skin but this winter my skin has become very dry and not very nice to put makeup over top of but to combat the flakes, gross I know, I have been using this serum from NIP+FAB but I bought it in BOOTS however I have seen it on Amazing. If you have dry skin I highly recommend this. NIP+FAB is my favourite skin care brand.

Don’t laugh but a few months ago I had a ‘accident’ with my lash curler and gave an accidental trim to my top and bottom lashes. They were still there but a lil shorter. This was around the time I was in Hong Kong so I bought this from a drugstore but it’s from the brand Majolica Majorga. We always take care of our hair but we never do it with our lashes and this have given mine some much needed tlc. This is probably not the easiest thing to get a hold of but you can buy it online here.

Speaking of lashes the miss Baby Roll is probably one of the best mascaras I’ve used it lengthens and thickens the lashes and mine always look great with this mascara and I’m obsessed.

Lush, as you may have found out from my Lush haul, is great. In Hong Kong they had a lot of Lush’s so you can bet I went into everyone. Along with my Eau Roma Water, which you know I love, I also bought this. I’ve been using it every morning to exfoliate and plump my lips.

Once again NIP+FAB has crept into a favourites. I never wore blush but I bought this out of curiosity and it is really quite wonderful. My favourite is the bottom left one.

This is the BarryM fall in love eyeshadow palette which I have been rocking every chance I can get. I really like the orange and yellow colours from the palette. Whilst my camera can quite show the colours fully they are really pigmented.

Rosy Rosa brushes are by far the greatest, softest brushes I’ve ever used. I have this powder brush, this blush brush and lastly this eyeshadow brush. I really like them and they pick up a lot of pigment.

Lastly is this Lipsy tinted lip balm. Whilst I can appreciate a red lipstick sometime you just want a mild and subtle lip colour and this is it. I actually thought I picked up a burnt orange one as this was behind the burnt orange tester but stupid me isn’t that smart and I didn’t check. However it is very much ok as I’m in love with this red!

This ring from Pandora was a christmas present from my mum. I had been eyeing up a few different Pandora rings but this one really stood out to me so I asked for it for christmas and I’m so glad I did because I really love it.

Last but not least is this perfume from Zoella Beauty. Although its supposed to be a winter scent I’m still obsessed and I will still wear it all year round because I love it.

Sadly our time together has come to and end :(. See you next week for another post!

Everyday Makeup|March 2018

Recently I’ve been getting a lot more interested in the makeup world. Even though I am very much an advocate for self love I genuinely enjoy the process of putting makeup on. Since my last everyday makeup post my look has changed a lil bit particularly since I have been a lot more into K-beauty recently.

Processed With Darkroom

So with out further adieu her is how I create this look!

I start by exfoliating my lips with Lush’s Mint Julips and moisturising them with my all time favourite lip balm Carmex. I moisturise with the Nip + Fab Dragons Blood Fix Plumping Serum followed by sunscreen (even on cloudy days!) and the Benefit Porefessional. I have two powders that I like to use depending on my skin that day so I go between Rimmel Match Perfection and the Ettusais BB mineral powder today however I went with the first option. A smooth as silk translucent mattifying powder. I then like to brush my brow into place and fill them in with the Benifit Goof Proof Brow Pencil in the colour 3. Another product which, for me, achieves a similar look is the Sweet-Sweets Lasting Brow Marker which by the way is amazing. Continuing on with my face is my #1 favourite product at the moment, the Nip + Fab Blusher Pallette in whisper. For my highlight I actually use a eyeshadow. After testing a bunch of different highlighters my fave is this which is the Makeup Obsession Eyeshadow in Champagne. Ok, Last two (favourite) steps.  With my Rimmel Eyeliner Pencil I line my upper waterline and lash line finishing it of with a baby baby wing. With a white eyeliner I line my lower lash line from the corner of my eye to the centre focusing mainly on the corner. LIP TIME! I start of by applying my NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream into the centre of my lips and blending in out to the rest of my lips. I follow that up with my NYX Lip Lingerie in Honeymoon right onto the centre of my lips and blend it out. I then powder the edges of my lips to to soften it up and bam. I am done. Super easy, super quick. Also for a final touch I like to spray on my Lush Eau Roma Water to set it.

Like I said loving your self before deciding to use makeup is so important! Those of you trying to clear your skin try wearing sunscreen everyday. Whilst it may not clear all pimples it will help to prevent premature skin ageing, sun spots and unnecessary pigmentation. Although it is better to go for 30 SPF and above if you really really want to tan go for something lower, anything is better than no sunscreen.

Oh and by the way! My top and pinafore are from H&M and my earrings are from Topshop.

That is all! BYEXX

The City Of Dreams.

Hong Kong is possibly one of the most beautiful places I’ve been too and trust me I’ve been to many places. I’m sure for a lot of people if you’ve never been there it just seems like another one of those cities like New York or London. While I can’t speak for New York, I think Hong Kong is very different. I’ve been there before but at the age of 5 you don’t really take much in and realise the beauty of a city or country. There wasn’t one place that I went in Hong Kong that didn’t impress me. The architecture in a place so different from my home is astounding and it really is a gorgeous place.

It was beautiful but the one downside was the two flights, one being twelve hours. Although flying as you guys may know is one of those things I prefer not to do I’ve come to the realisation that there is no point being scared as I take roughly six flights a year. I also think that is such a privilege to be able to travel as much as I do and I don’t want to not be enjoying something when some people would kill to do it as much as I can.

The second I stepped out of the airport I was impressed and the whole taxi ride to my aunt and uncles home I was looking out the window up at all the high rise buildings. One of my favourite things about Hong Kong was that you could go from being in an area with tall high rise buildings and then in an area surrounded by trees and forest.

I our five day stay we did a lot of eating. Where I live we don’t have a lot of asian restaurants which for me, a lover of Korean food, this is very disappointing. Where I live we have like a couple Thai and Chinese take out restaurants but TBH they aren’t amazing. We went to Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Malaysian and korean restaurants in Hong Kong. They were all amazing as my aunt and uncle have been living there for about ten years so they know where to go and what to eat.

If you ever get the chance to go, go there is something there for everybody and it is somewhere that I could see myself living. I don’t remember the last time I enjoyed a trip as much as I enjoyed this one. I hope to go again one day.
